Follow-up: Lawsuit--Stanley Marsh 3 survivors trafficked teens

It looks like Marsh 3 sexually abused enough young boys that each of the youngsters will have his own Cadillac.

AMARILLO -- A civil lawsuit filed Tuesday brings new allegations against survivors of Stanley Marsh 3, claiming they played a role in facilitating the sexual abuse of teenage boys.

The lawsuit, filed by Houston attorney Chad Pinkerton in 181st District Court, alleges Stanley Marsh 3, Marsh’s wife Gwendolyn “Wendy” Marsh, son Stanley Marsh IV, longtime associate David L. Weir and former employee Drew Mason engaged in child sex trafficking when they knowingly received benefits from Marsh 3’s sexual conduct with nine underage boys from November 2009 to June 2011.

The lawsuit seeks up to $50 million and possible additional damages for each of the nine plaintiffs.

Marsh 3 died in June 2014 at age 76 after a series of strokes incapacitated him. At the time of his death, he was under indictment on eight felony counts of sexual performance by a child, four counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child.
