Premont Mayor arrested on felony, misdemeanor charges
The Mayor of Premont, Norma Tullos, was arrested early Thursday morning on several charges related to her son's recent run-in with police for drug paraphernalia.
Mayor Tullos is charged with official repression, interfering with official duties of an officer, tampering with a government document, and obstruction or retaliation.
KRIS6 News was there as she was taken away in handcuffs and loaded into a police unit that took her to the Jim Wells County Jail.
The charges include 4 felonies and 6 misdemeanors.
