ICE deports Mexican fugitive accused of killing woman with hammer
LAREDO - A Mexican fugitive accused of killing an elderly woman with a hammer was turned over to Mexican authorities Wednesday, according to a news release from Immigration and Customs and Enforcement in South Texas.
Elmer Tinoco-Eutimio, 22, was previously deported after a 2013 conviction for illegal entry near Eagle Pass. According to Mexicos Attorney Generals office or Procuraduria General de la Republica (PGR) Tinoco-Eutimio broke into a home on Feb. 11, 2015 in Luvianos, Mexico, and beat a woman to death with a hammer, the release states.
Tinoco-Eutimio was found living in Austin earlier this year by ICEs Enforcement and Removal Operations and remained in custody until his removal Wednesday at the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge in Laredo.
