Update: eBay bids on historic Schroeder Hall crack $200K mark just days after auction begins
GOLIAD -- There's more than a week left in an eBay auction of Schroeder Hall and the bids are closing in on $250,000 after starting at $1 on Wednesday.
Current owner Doug Guller, CEO of ATX Brands, placed Texas' second-oldest dance hall on eBay to "cast the widest net," he told mySA.com.
"At this point I wasn't expecting it to be this high, I certainly expect it to go much higher," Guller said on Friday. "I'm very pleased at where it is right now."
Guller said there are currently 22 active bidders vying for the chance to own a piece of Texas history.
