What are you doing on Wednesday, August 8?
Want to support a wild SF motion picture that didn't come out of Hollywood?
Join me at the Studio Movie Grill in Lewisville, TX on August 8 for a big-screen Texas debut of the Timo Vuorensola film Iron Sky. In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by fleeing to the dark side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis construct a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers. In 2018, they come back - and the battle for Earth is about to get "Nazi." Have a peek at the official trailer:
Only thing is, if we can't get at least 26 more North Texas to reserve a ticket, the screening will likely fall apart. I'm trying to recruit DUers because (a) I am really stoked about supporting a fan-based, fan-directed SF comedy that looks just as good as anything from the big studios, (b) Laibach has supplied the soundtrack, and (c) hey, it's a chance for DUers in North Texas to come together for one night and laugh their heads off!
Here's the important part: If you want to reserve a ticket to Iron Sky, the only way to do it is to click this link:

Too far away for me to make it, but please give us a heads up if/when this makes it to DVD.
