Jail inmate accused of masturbating in Travis County courtroom
AUSTIN -- A drunken driving defendant is accused of masturbating in a Travis County state district courtroom last week, according to a sheriff’s spokesman.
Deputy Carlos Rodriguez, the bailiff in Judge Julie Kocurek’s court, reported seeing Andres Villarreal-Saguero place his hand down his pants and masturbate on July 20 as he was waiting to see the judge. The report says the courtroom was empty at the time save for three jail inmates.
Informed by the bailiff about what had taken place, Kocurek revoked Villarreal-Saguero’s personal bond. He was booked back into the Travis County Jail, and remained in jail on Wednesday.
Villarreal-Saguero, 25, was appearing in court on a felony charge of an accident involving injury stemming from a drunken driving arrest. He did not receive any additional charges for the alleged masturbatory act. He is scheduled to appear again on Aug. 3.
