The University of Texas football players were allowed inside their newly renovated locker room for the first time Wednesday night and - judging by photos posted on Twitter - they were quite pleased.
The Longhorns unveiled one of the most opulent locker rooms in the country with individual lockers that are estimated to cost $8,700 each. Industry sources estimate the typical new FBS lockers cost about $4,000 each.
These aren't your average lockers though. Each one comes with a 43-inch monitor instead of the standard name plate.
Before new Longhorns coach Tom Herman let his players inside the locker room, he addressed the team. The video was captured by The Players' Tribune.

So each player needs a locker with a monitor displaying their picture? What a foolish extravagance.
