Downtown Dallas to host Women's March and March for Life this weekend

Thousands are expected to gather Saturday in downtown Dallas for two marches that commemorate anniversaries central to women's lives.

The Dallas Women's March celebrates achievements made since millions of women gathered worldwide for the inaugural Women's March events last year.

Also, the annual March for Life marks the 45th anniversary of the landmark abortion decision Roe vs. Wade.

The Women's March will start at 10 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church and end at Pike Park. The March for Life, one of several Dallas events marking the Supreme Court decision's anniversary, will start at 12:30 p.m. at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and end at the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse.
