'Affluenza' mom Tonya Couch released from jail
The mother of "affluenza teen" Ethan Couch, who was apprehended in Mexico with her son after fleeing Texas in 2015, has once again been released from jail on bond.
Tonya Couch, 51, was booked into the Tarrant County jail in March after authorities said she violated the conditions of her bond and failed a urinalysis test.
Bond, which had been set at $10,000, was reinstated this week.
Couch faces charges of hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and money laundering. Until this spring, she had been free on bond since 2016. As part of the conditions of her release, she was not allowed to drink alcohol.
