(54,770 posts)6. Honestly, underreporting cases 3K is not that important. Fact is, if Texas has 44K confirmed cases,
the state probably has several hundred thousand actual cases, with many unconfirmed because of lax testing.
Now, if they were underreporting deaths by that amount, that would be different.
