why wouldn't they try to trash people with far more expertise in teaching than they have?

then tout our great military and its strength, which comes a lot from not just the men and women who man our armed forces (thank you all for your service), but from the technical advances due to the Sciences and Hi-Tech that have allowed these new weapon systems to be designed.

What it is, then, the actual reasons why these people hate those in these Hi-Tech and/or Sciences? And I'm including IT since a lot of IT has been revolutionary and brand new, due in some part to new computer languages w/ better and better capabilities interfacing. I was lucky enough to participate early enough in the IT world and it was probably the best career I and many others were honored to be involved with (and I'm talking users too, who usually weren't computer savvy, but paid the bills for IT, the users had to be somewhat competent to be able to write specs for an IT system. All this takes years to develop the brainpower and such that allowed these tied together systems to flourish.

You can't just take a 1- or 2-year training for the most part, it's like qualifying for a doctor's degree. Very intensive and demanding.

The only thing that I can offer as an excuse, is probably jealousy or perhaps resentment too, as a lot of these tradescraft/retail/other career path jobs seemed to fall behind in real wages.

What the Corona/trump Virus has done, is do labor a huge favor, indirectly (not anticipated at all by any it seems), resulted in higher pay for a lot of people, far better than the so-called republican economists/law makers who insisted higher pays would collapse the business environment. How wrong they were. This has been called a huge lie by all reasonable people. Wages are going up because the demand is there, thus business is, in fact, booming, and not at all what the republicans say.
