Redistricting hearings
Just got an email asking for attendance at redistricting hearings. Please attend one near you if you can!

Thank you for joining nearly 3,000 other Texans in signing our petition to tell the legislature: Don't rubber stamp bad maps! The petition has already successfully encouraged legislators to hold field hearings around the state.
Let's keep the momentum going by encouraging our elected officials to vote for maps that are fair and representative. The Senate and House Redistricting Committees have scheduled hearings on interim maps in various cities around the state.
Can you attend a hearing and voice your concern about flawed maps?

Turnout was very sad at the hearing. More senators and staff than folks giving testimony. There is still an opportunity for people to go to the next hearing or testify by mail, but they want you to send a ridiculous amount of copies.
I was interviewed by KVUE after my testimony. They said it would be on the the 5 or 6 o'clock news either today or tomorrow. I'm working, so will probably miss it.
