Texas A&M student newspaper writer: Send Johnny Manziel out the door

There’s little sympathy and fewer people on his side. Johnny Football has finally made an uncalculated mistake that will have ramifications.

It’s time to send Johnny Football down the proverbial one-year hallway in the house that is Texas A&M and straight out the front door.

A day in Manziel’s shoes would equal a lifetime for many of us “regular” people.

His accomplishments are noted but no matter the outcome of the promising 2013 season it is time to watch Manziel ride off into the sunset. Johnny Football wants out and as a selfish observer, I want him out as well.

I doubt that the Longhorn Nation gives a crap since Texas A&M isn't a member of the Big 12 anymore and they don't play a football game against each other.

I used to be at Kansas State University, and the fans of the chicken at KU enjoyed pretending that they didn't know KSU existed.

And then, in both basketball and football season, the KSU games were always packed, even in the lean years for KU.

4. Touchy student there.

Geez, Manziel makes a comment out of frustration and this student won't cut him some slack? Manziel basically took it back five minutes later.

The writer better hope that his words are ignored, or TAMU might end up watching a shot at a national championship walk away.

Manziel needs to dump the social media.

5. Possibly a part of the academically elite

that watched academic programs in high school get decimated while the football team received wonderful training equipment, traveled hundreds of miles, and wore new jerseys every year.

I agree that for someone who is supposed to be very intelligent, he certainly has shown a lack of intelligence on social media.
