For the man in your life: Texas A&M cologne to offer scent of Aggie spirit

Coming soon, you won't have to walk across campus under the Texas sun or spend a night at Northgate to smell like Texas A&M.

The university will have its own official cologne come fall, and officials say it will actually smell quite nice -- with floral and fruity aromatics.

A&M spokesman and top marketing guru Shane Hinckley acknowledged the jokes on social media about what the Aggie products might smell like, but said he expects the scents to sell well.

"It's meant to be serious, but not too serious," Hinckley said. "We know you could 'insert joke here.' We expected to have some lighthearted moments with this, but the reality is we had several female employees that were really surprised, really liked it and are definitely buying it when it comes out."

[font color=maroon]The Aggie cologne has top notes made up of Italian lemon, wild bergamot, iced white pineapple and Granny Smith apple. The middle notes contain water lily, fresh nutmeg, green moss and a touch of ground cinnamon. The base notes include labdanum, white amber crystals, silver moss, wet vetiver, white cedar and aged woods.

What isn't included: collie fur, cannon powder or sweat of Johnny Manziel.
