Brat campaign for Congress replaces campaign manager.

Republican congressional candidate Dave Brat has replaced his campaign manager after just three weeks on the job, adding to growing pains for the political newcomer who toppled former majority leader Eric Cantor.

Phil Rapp, an aide to state Sen. William M. Stanley (R-Franklin), will take the reins from Amanda Chase, who once worked for Cantor, the campaign confirmed Tuesday. Like Chase, Rapp has never run a congressional campaign.

From the Daily Princetonian - it appears that Dave Brat is comfortably leaving some wiggle room in his credentials. While technically true that he went to school "in" Princeton, looks like it isn't true that he went "to" Princeton (the University that is). I had forgotten that Christine O'Donnell of "I am not a witch" fame had some of the same noise.

I love when these guys get caught at resume padding.

I carefully say, 'I went to Miami University in OHIO,' to NOT confuse!!! You, CincyDem, would NOT be confused by that, I'm sure!

OK - Princeton High School in Cincinnati, but why do people have to be so picky about specifics, especially for a ReThug.

The campaign also announced that it had hired Tim Edson as a consultant. Edson ran Rep. Allen West’s (R-Fla.) unsuccessful reelection campaign and worked for Susan Stimpson in her failed bid for the GOP nomination for lieutenant governor in Virginia last year.
