Several farm animals died after a fire broke out at a barn in Bedford County, according to a post on the Bedford Fire Department's Facebook page.

Firefighters found the barn well involved when they arrived at the 6700 block of Forest Road. Crews were able to rescue multiple animals, but an unspecified number of animals died in the fire. Losses are estimated at $65,000.
