Signs in Western VA

This weekend, Mrs Best, my SIL, and I traveled through Northern Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Culpeper Counties. We saw LOTS of signs for Tim Kaine, Leslie Cockburn, Abigail Spanberger, and Vangie Williams. Number of signs far outweighed those for Russiapublicans.

Gives me hope for next Tuesday.

I was in the more populous areas and what stood out to me was the small number of Brat signs. Two years ago there were a lot of 'rump signs. I'd like to take this as a sign that these folks are now not enthusiastic and will stay home. VA-05 and VA-07 races are sooo close. I'm in VA-05, but I despise Brat.

We've had door knockers twice for Cockburn and none for Riggleman here in Charlottesville. I am an Albemarle resident, but spend a lot of time in Charlottesville. Canvassers never seem to get up my little mud road in Albemarle.

It's all anecdotal, but leaves me hopeful. GOTV is always important but especially this midterm.
