NASA Wallops' Antares NG-12 rocket launch pushed back to next month

Even with rocket launches, travel plans can change.

NASA has announced its upcoming Antares NG-12 launch would be pushed back to no earlier then Nov. 2.

The launch from Virginia's Wallops Island this fall, once set for late October, will bring NASA science investigations, supplies and equipment to the International Space Station, as previously reported by Delmarva Now.

The launch of Northrop Grumman’s 12th commercial resupply services mission aboard its Cygnus spacecraft does not have a specific launch time at the moment, though the window will open next month.

This new target, according to NASA's Office of Communications, "accommodates the expected departure at the end of October of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s HTV-8 cargo vehicle and other activities at the space station."
