A Hamilton woman died in a horse riding accident at Morven Park in Leesburg Tuesday.
Nicolle Villers-Amatt, a 40-year-old mother and veteran rider, suffered a fall while jumping a log fence, according to Morven Park officials. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died.

Villers-Amatt had been eventing since the 1990s, according to Morven Park's statement. She ran Five Point Performance Horses, a business developing young event horses and fox hunters.
