Record Rainfall Brings Flooding To Rivers, Streets In Washington

SEATTLE, WA — An unrelenting downpour brought flooding to rivers, streets and urban areas Friday morning, as the Seattle area approaches some all-time daily precipitation records. 48-hour rainfall totals largely fell within the 2-to-4 inches range in King and Pierce counties, and Seattle picked up more than two inches just between midnight and 10 a.m. Friday.
