Gas prices drop in Seattle, statewide, nationwide for 14th straight week

SEATTLE — Gas prices slightly dropped over the past week, bringing the average in Seattle to $4.78 a gallon after decreasing .8 cents, according to GasBuddy's survey of 775 stations in the Emerald City.

This marks the 14th consecutive week gas prices has dropped within the city and across the country, according to GasBuddy.

In Tacoma, the average price remained at $4.47 a gallon, while Yakima's average fell 1.5 cents to $4.35 a gallon. Washington state's average sits at $4.57 per gallon after falling 1.1 cents.

The national average stands at $3.64 per gallon, down 25.7 cents from a month ago.
