Smith (WA-09) has agreed to cosponsor the Strengthening Social Security Act

We all worked hard and Rep. Smith had agreed to so-sponsor HR 3118, the Strengthening Social Security Act, prime sponsored by Rep. Linda Sanchez. We should all take the time to thank Rep. Smith.
Just to remind you, HR 3118 increases monthly Social Security benefits, adopts the CPI-E to determines yearly increases in the cost of living, and eliminates the cap to p[ay for these improvements.
We now have 3 WA Congressional Representatives in support of the legislation. We will now focus on Reps. Heck, Kilmer & DelBene and make a run at Rep. Reichart. Stay tuned.... and congratulations!
