Dino Rossi's latest benefactor? Mike Pence
The White House has made its first move in the hotly contested race for Washington's 8th Congressional District, the seat of retiring Republican Rep. Dave Reichert.
The political action committee of Vice President Mike Pence, the Great America Committee, has given $5,400 to Republican hopeful Dino Rossi, who has cleared the GOP field. Rossi has already put more than $1 million in the bank.
The Pence PAC donation shows high priority attached to Washington's open seat.
Great America, in its latest round of donations, has cut $5,400 checks to 30 Republican House incumbents, three GOP Senators facing reelection, and four incumbent Republican governors.
