1. The increase in calls from an older demographic

Doesn't surprise me. Women of that age had no where to go and no one to talk to as such conversations just were not ever entertained. It simply wasn't done. And if you want to talk about "shame" - this is the generation who knew that term too well. Because back then it was ALWAYS the woman's fault. Even in cases of incest.

Well, what did you do ? What were you wearing ? What did you say ? What perfume were you wearing ? Were you wearing make-up ? Did you have on high-heels ? Because it had to be something you did.

This wasn't the exception to the rule. It was the ONLY rule. Women were always to blame.
