'No one is above the law': Thousands rally in support of Mueller investigation

Thousands of Seattleites rallied at Cal Anderson Park and then marched to the Federal Building on Second Avenue in solidarity with the Special Counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller, Thursday.

Demonstrators chanted "It's Mueller Time!" and "Let Bob do his job!" as they marched down E Pine Street.

The event, one of about 47 in Washington state alone and hundreds across the United States, was orchestrated by MoveOn, a progressive activism organization. The events rallied around the idea "No one is above the law."

They had organized the local "in case of emergency" protests as early as May should something develop amounting to what they consider to be a constitutional crisis -- and with Attorney General Jeff Sessions' forced resignation Wednesday, the call to action came.
