Washington initiative promoter Tim Eyman lashes out at fellow Republican

Longtime initiative promoter Tim Eyman is showing an increasingly short fuse, lashing out in a series of emails at a fellow Republican, State Sen. Hans Zeiger.

Zeiger is "playing patty cake with liberals" and seeking to get "crumbs" from the Democrats, Eyman charged in the first of three attacks on Zeiger.

"Turncoat Republicans made a calculation the crumbs they might get from the Democrats are worth more than the backlash they'll get from the people who supported their campaigns and their party," Eyman wrote.

Usually, Eyman goes after Democrats, having once labeled Gov. Jay Inslee a "lying whore" and charging that Attorney General Bob Ferguson has driven him to a bankruptcy filing.
