Raspberries Sold In Wash. Recalled Over Norovirus

BELLINGHAM, WA — The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall on frozen red raspberries that were sold in Washington supermarkets. The berries, grown in the Bellingham area, may be contaminated with norovirus.

The berries were grown at Rader Farms, but were only sold at WinCo supermarkets in the area. WinCo only has a handful of locations in Puget Sound, including in Edmonds, Sumner, Kent, and Puyallup.

No one has become sick due to the berries, the FDA said, but a sample did test positive for norovirus.

The berries carry the label "WinCo Foods Frozen Red Raspberries" and were sold in 12-ounce bags with the UPC No. 0 70552 30501. The bags will bear an expiration date of Feb. 13, 2021, and have the lot No. 4045902. You can return the berries for a full refund.
