How to Flush your Plumbing System
Once the water ban is lifted where you live, you have to flush your water before using it again. Here's step-by-step procedures to follow after you get the all clear in your zone:
1. Flush all of your hot water taps for 15 minutes. Then, turn them off.
2. Flush your cold water taps (remember outside spigots) for 5 minutes and turn them off.
3. Flush all appliances.
