Kloppenburg vs Bradley? Vote Kloppenburg!Last edited Mon Apr 4, 2016, 08:20 PM - Edit history (1)
Kloppenburg does not sleep with her clients. Bradley does sleep with her clients.
The choice is clear.

11. It's getting very difficult to deny.
The Republicans have done a great job of taking advantage of a comically inept state Dem party. That, and the Kochs deciding that we would be their petri dish for state-level takeovers six years ago has left this place unrecognizable to lifelong Wisconsinites.

12. Once again, Republicans turned out to VOTE in much bigger numbers...
look at the total vote numbers in the R primary. If people on our side can't be bothered to vote, then we have to live with the results. That, and it might help if we stopped running retread candidates. Nothing personally against Kloppenberg, who I truly believe would have made a wonderful SC Justice... but we've now run Barrett TWICE for Governor, Kloppenberg TWICE for SC... A combined 0-4.

13. Not disputing your arguments at all but...
How much difference might voter suppression have mattered in this race?

14. I thought about that.
The voter suppression tactics being used in this state are largely aimed at inner-city people of color-- these are the voters most affected by the voter ID stuff. That could have led to Clinton not performing quite as well as expected, as during this primary season POC have been her most reliable base.
Still, in past elections, the R's have been much, much better at getting ALL of their base to turn out and vote in primaries and off-year elections. I know the anti-Trump movement in the Milwaukee burbs was HUGE... I am sure that helped Bradley. I can't imagine anybody voter for Cruz and Kloppenberg. |
