SIGN: Stop Walker from Bankrupting Wisconsin’s Economic Future to Foxconn

Scott Walker’s Foxconn scheme is the biggest public swindle in Wisconsin history.

Walker wants to give $3 billion dollars in large annual checks from the State of Wisconsin to a rogue multinational corporation notorious for exploiting child labor, calling its own workers animals, and creating conditions so wretched that one of its factories had to be outfitted with suicide nets.

Even if you can get beyond Foxconn’s record, it is hard to believe just how bad this scheme really is for Wisconsin. A distinguished professor of economics said “it isn’t just bad, it might well be the worst large economic development deal in history.“

Instead, Wisconsin should be making real investments in expanding opportunity and creating living wage jobs across the state.
