Hillary Clinton bringing book tour to Milwaukee
Hillary Clinton is finally coming to Wisconsin.
Clinton’s book tour will include a stop at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on Nov. 9, exactly a year and a day after she lost the 2016 presidential election to President Donald Trump. That included a narrow loss in Wisconsin, which Clinton was criticized for not visiting during the general election.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. through pabsttheater.org, but those interested can register for a Sept. 6 pre-sale by visiting hillaryclintonbooktour.com. Ticket prices have not been announced.
Clinton’s book, “What Happened,” will be released on Sept. 12. Clinton has said she lets her guard down in the book, giving her personal account on what took place during the 2016 election. The book is already making waves for excerpts that have been released, including Clinton’s account of how her "skin crawled" during the second presidential debate, when Trump seemed to stalk her around the stage.
“Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye, and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me so back up.’”
