Wisconsin's partisan election review has been halted while lawsuits are being resolved.

Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) announced Wednesday that former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman's political study of the 2020 presidential election has been put on hold while various lawsuits over his work proceed through the courts.

During the halt, Gableman’s $11,000 monthly compensation will be slashed in half, according to Vos, who also stated that the review might resume if the courts decide in Gableman’s favor.

Gableman has been digging for evidence of widespread election fraud since last June when Vos tapped him to lead an investigation into baseless Republican allegations that the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

Wonder how much of that money is going back into Vos' coffers.
