(116 posts)If they want to burn them to destroy evidence of a stolen election then why don't they give them to us to destroy rather than charge for making copies...
Seems they have something to hide...

We had a vault which was where we kept each and every paper ballot cast for the last 5 years!
After 5 years, the city election commission would authorize their destruction, shredding, and incineration,(in the days before recycling, I recall, today the paper would probably just be re-cycled!)

(3,577 posts)As I wrote in the General Discussion thread mentioned above, the GAB memo that caused this fear was referring to Section 7.23 of the Wisconsin statutes, not July 23. Unfortunately they left off the word or symbol for section, assuming the clerks to whom it was sent would understand. Since the ballots have been requested for examination, it is not likely that clerks will destroy them just yet.

(116 posts)Then if the clerks destroyed them they could say oops. Or, maybe it was intentional to see if it accelerated the coming up with the requested copying costs to supply that information request rather than freely.
So what is the reason for the delay in obtaining the requested information before its too late?
