woke up this morning checked the newspapers and found this from madison.com

by the looks of things even the republicans are getting screwed.

I served on the County redistricting committee. The software provided was pretty accurate and jived very will with the County maps. In the city we were able to confirm everything by GIS....

I don't know how there could be discrepancies between the actual boundaries and census data.

4. Looks like it's become an error in translation

perhaps between programs and/or databases.

Someone has a number or a comma out of place in a column of data so some people are sorting to Africa instead of the proper districts.

3. Sheboygan in Africa?

"We're not only changing and moving districts, we're changing the system beneath it," said Julie Glancey, the Sheboygan County clerk. "We had many, many voters who showed up (on the computer map) on the coast of Africa and we had to drag them back to the state of Wisconsin and put them where they belonged."
