Former Obama supporters say they back Romney this time

In 2008, Matthew Brewer said he voted for hope, change and Barack Obama for president.

But this fall, he said, even though he said he doesn't agree with every policy proposed by Mitt Romney, he'll be voting for the Republican for president.

"I think he has the right skill set," Brewer said Thursday, as Romney's Wisconsin campaign rolled out what it called an advisory board of Wisconsin Democrats for Romney.

The group is comprised of 39 people from 29 cities. In a news release, the campaign said Wisconsin Democrats for Romney will bring together "a multitude of disenchanted Obama supporters who are not better off than they were four years ago."

Brewer, 49, an unemployed acoustic engineer from Spring Green, counts himself as one of those disenchanted with Obama, despite supporting him four years ago.

"He has been ineffective," Brewer said. He added that he doesn't have much hope for the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.

I actually got worried when I heard Rove and Romney dropped advertising in Wisconsin...that means they've got something else going

or

it's a "head fake" and they will dump MILLIONS into Wisconsin two weeks before the election.

Rove is King of the dirty tricks crowd...I think all this is part of a scheme.

Stories like that always set off red flags. If someone thinks President Obama didn't deliver on so many things, why would they throw their support behind someone who intends to undo everything President Obama HAS done. Absolutely makes zero sense. Thus, the stench of a shill.

You find a dozen "disenchanted" people and parade them around like zoo animals on TV.

Obama could probably find a few thousand republicans that would do the same thing.

The Brewers, after losing their home over the costs of treating Ms. Brewer's cancer, are willing to support a repeal of Obamacare and return to allowing insurance companies to reject people with preexisting conditions. So the Brewers would be on their own for the rest of Ms. Brewer's life, but their preferred model of health care would be in place for everyone else to enjoy. How altruistic!

That what Nader voters said in 2000 y would you want to help Romney etc with a protest non vote which in a close election is voting against yourself. The results would defeat your purpose, what good is a protest non vote if it hurts you in the end. A Romney admin is far worse than an Obama one and you'll have a lot more to be worried about. Anyone who does this has no right to complain when a Romney admins consequences comes to light. The R's thank you for your contribution but ok
Know that's not your goal

27. Disillusioned Obama Supporter In Romney Ad Is Actually GOP Staffer
Sun Sep 9, 2012, 08:39 AM
Sep 2012

Republicans debuted a new ad Thursday in which a frustrated former Obama supporter expresses her disappointment with the president. The only problem: The woman in the video is actually an RNC staffer.

The new ad features Republican National Committee Director of Hispanic Outreach Bettina Inclan, who in the ad purports to be an average woman voter who supported Obama in 2008. She describes her disillusionment with the president in the ad as a romantic relationship gone awry.

“You’re just not he person I thought you were,” Inclan says in the ad, addressing a cardboard cutout of Obama. Inclan lists out-of-control spending and Obama’s penchant for hanging out with Hollywood celebrities as reasons for the break-up. “It’s not me, it’s you. I think we should just be friends.”

The ad asks people to share why they’re “breaking up” with Obama.

The RNC says its ad, which first appeared on television Thursday is not dishonest.
