Why won’t Paul Ryan debate Rob Zerban?

I always wondered how Paul Ryan kept getting elected... and because of this Presidential election.... Many people around the country are going to probably ask the same question.... Let's face it... Paul Ryan does not come across as being very smart...

"I’m not the only one wondering why Rep. Ryan won’t debate Rob Zerban, and I think it’s an absolute disgrace that Paul Ryan would rather run TV ads to support his reelection campaign than actually defend his record to his constituents.
The Romney/Ryan Republican ticket, which fell behind in most polls after an off-message GOP convention in Tampa and an on-message Democratic convention is Charlotte, has committed to participate in national presidential and vice presidential debates. Indeed, the Republicans are relying on the debates to renew their run for the White House.
But Ryan has not agreed to debate in his race for re-election to the House, despite the fact that he faces a credible Democratic challenger who has drawn significant attention at the local, state and national levels.

That challenger, Rob Zerban, has asked Ryan to join him in two debates.

If Ryan has the time to campaign in DePere, he should have the time to debate in Racine or Kenosha or Lake Geneva or Janesville.

If Ryan cannot find the time to debate Zerban, 1st District voters will have every right to ask whether he has forgotten them in his headlong rush for the national spotlight."http://bloggingblue.com/2012/09/27/why-wont-paul-ryan-debate-rob-zerban/

Paul Ryan declares: 'Don't feed fish'

"For those who can't watch clips online, Ryan was confronted by a voter at an event yesterday who's struggling, and can't afford to give up on public assistance. The Republican vice presidential nominee responded, "The only thing that limits you is your God given talent and your own effort. We need to have that dynamic economy return. You do that by drawing the economy and giving people a hand up, not a hand out. Teach a man how to fish, he can feed himself for a life. Don't simply feed fish."

As Sharpton asked, "Don't feed fish? What does that even mean?" I don't know, but that strikes me as a good question.

But I have a related concern: since when does Paul Ryan believe in teaching people to fish? Ryan's budget plan includes some pretty brutal cuts to education and public-assistance programs. In fact, though much of his agenda is vague when it comes to reductions, if Ryan's cuts were applied evenly, his budget could cut nearly $5 billion from elementary and secondary education, and take college aid away from nearly 10 million students.

The idea of stressing education as a mechanism for growth and social mobility sounds pretty appealing, but the Republican vision is one in which struggling folks wouldn't get a fish, wouldn't be taught to fish, the lake gets drained, and those affected would be told to "take personal responsibility and care for their lives." http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2012/09/27/14124144-paul-ryan-declares-dont-feed-fish?lite

Where the hell did this "intellectual" shit come from? Ryan strikes me as having very average intelligence along with some political talent, but a brain he is not.

It is becoming increasingly obvious to ANYONE with even just a modicum of common sense that Lyin' Ryan is all talk and no substance.

He collected social security when his father died.

Just because they hate the safety net doesn't mean they won't take from it.
