Dear FightingBob.com subscriber,

FightingBob.com was born at the first Fighting Bob Fest, and every year more life is breathed into it. Another great Fighting Bob Fest has provided us with more fuel to keep FightingBob.com fresh and vibrant. Democracy, war, peace, the environment and climate change were on our minds on September 6 and 7 and you can keep getting fresh takes on those subjects on FightingBob.com.

“You’re in the Army now” by FightingBob.com contributing editor David Giffey is about the militarization northern Wisconsin is undergoing in order to clear the way for the world’s largest frac sand mine.

“Nothing to see here” by FightingBob.com contributing editor Joel McNally is about the crackdown on nonviolent protestors in the Capitol and how Walker intends to get away with it.

“Denials: and the denying deniers who deny them” by FightingBob.com contributing editor Bill Berry is about climate change denier Senator Ron Johnson and his attempts to deny his denials.

The subjects of the latest GarveyBlog posts include Fighting Bob Fest, Moral Mondays, the Solidarity Singers, Syria and Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Bill Kraus’s latest GuestBlog post is about what we can do to ameliorate the effects of partisanship.
