Actually he issued a statement where he stood shoulder to shoulder with victims of Fiona. No mention of standing sholder to shoulder with the country or the government in supporting victims of Hurricane Fiona. Not soothing at all to put politics in a statement of support so he tries again this time mentioning local authorities.

Where he is getting updates from is his Atlantic Caucus. Again not mentioning federal sources. Next he will offer news reports from his Atlantic deputies linking a finger each and holding it up to the wind.

1. Sure he stands shoulder-to-shoulder as Opposition leader, but Poilievre wouldn't govern

Cons can attack and tear down (destroy scientific studies, for example) but not govern. They fundamentally care less about "other" people than their own stack.
