Canada's privacy czar says spies should be less secretive

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/06/12/pol-cse-privacy.html

We are the most secretive nation in the Western world when it comes to the dossiers and spying that is done against our own citizens. Worse, there is absolutely NO mechanism to hold them accountable; if they are employed by the state they are Gods in Canada.

Not only should they be less secretive, but they should respect the rule of law, stop chasing rabbits, manufacturing threats, making backroom deals with countries who are not our ally, ruining the lives of loyal Canadians.

How many foreign spies are actively operating in Canada while many of these disloyal agents in the security apparatus reach for the lowest hanging fruit?
