Does anyone have information about the TPS budget for 2014?

I haven't been able to find any details other then they are not expanding beyond the hiring of 80 new recruits (which I heard some time ago). Does anyone know the budget that Chief Blair will be spending?

but I think its safe to assume the Fords won't be giving their Rubber stamp of approval this time around, considering that their protection money was useless. Blair sure knows how to run a racket.

Protection money, I like that.

I certainly think the optics of the situation would have been different if he had really pushed hard for the cuts that he initially demanded of Blair. As it were, not only did he allow a slight increase while demanding every other department make cuts, but he gave them a massive multi-million dollar boost courtesy of the province when he leaned hard on an equally immoral (if not worse) Premier McGuinty with the "gang funds" after the high profile murder at the Eatons Centre.

Of course, we all know now why McGuinty got out of dodge, nary a minute in the penalty box for his lies and misuse of citizens funds.

Ultimately, I would like to see closer scrutiny of the security apparatus in this country at all levels. The police in particular misuse and blatantly waste funds for their undercover operations without accountability; I am living proof of how abusive and dangerous their lies can be. If we are going to allow them to destroy lives, manipulate citizens and cause more harm than good at the operational level, we better sure as hell tighten the noose around their funding so that their damage is minimized.

They can easily run the city with the funding they receive, all it takes is some cuts of the plain clothed sales reps who fill the pipeline for themselves...
