They didn’t reign in the Tea Party n it evolved into something worse..it seems. I’m no political historian but this faction is gonna be a big deal n may be their demise.

powerful since the Reagan admin with the evangelical right backing them up.

Birchers, KKK, minutemen, patriot movement, neo-nazis, militias, Aryan Brotherhood, Army of God, Christian Identity, sovereigns/constitutionalists, dominionists/reconstructionists being the most extremist.

The Tea Party and Trumpist are just rebranded versions of those predecessors.
