1. Not so in BC, especially the island and lower mainland
Our entire winter seemed to last from Dec. 23-Jan 8 or so, when we got an entire winter’s worth of snow in just a couple of weeks. Since then, it has been cold, but with minimal rain until this week, with more a bit more rain coming in the coming week.
It’s currently cool and sunny, and absolutely lovely. I worry this means the summer is going to be another scorcher like last year. |

2. I hope you don't loose your coastal rainforest climate due to climate change. Your plants
are so beautiful as they are.

3. Yep had spring in early Feb and then went down to -20, warmed up
and had snow the past 3-4 days. I have to say it has been one of the mildest winters here, very little snow which is concerning, so hope the mountains got lots.

4. Yes. I concur. We have lots of snow but I worry at how warm it gets at least a few days each week
during the winter. We've hit zero C a few times. Very odd.
