of what's left.

My wife works in Pharma, here in Ireland, and they have just finished a proof of concept project for the testing of a drug that is currently made at a UK sister plant, for the uk and EU. If the no deal Brexit goes through, the manufacturing and testing will move to her plant for the EU market.

Actually, I'm thinking of taking a permanent job after two decades of contracting, and an opportunity has arisen with a US pharma company that had bought in the UK, but because of Brexit, bought a small manufacturing company in Ireland. They are currently in the process of hiring a couple of hundred to upscale in Ireland.

An Irish politician said last week that for the first time in a couple of hundred years or more, we may well see a net influx of British people coming to Ireland !

We've discussed his business interests on here before. Britain will be in a much weaker position to resist the fracking industry after we leave the EU. https://www.democraticunderground.com/108812491

not just as belt and braces, but in the hope of being lured back with even more generous tax breaks once the UK's liberated from Europe and free at last to plummet headlong into the race to the bottom in the regulation and corporate and personal tax stakes?

Revoke this Wanker's Knightship straight away... and if he won't surrender it voluntarily, send up the RAF to "intercept" his Gulfstream before he leaves British airspace.

And, just by the way, since when did the country that tamed the Oceans and led the fight against Nazi Tyranny begin handing out Kinightships for "...services to business and investment?"

New twist on Churchill: "Never in the course of human conduct have so Many, paid so much, to so Few, for doing so Little".
