You can:

(A) get a vpn subscription and make yourself look like you are in the US; or

(B) enjoy stuff you can’t see on Netflix here.

Netflix-produced material is not usually subject to geographic distribution differences.

Most of the stuff on your list will be the same, but some of it will not be available. On the other hand, there will be stuff available that is not available here.

I'm not on DU that much. It allows you to have a US dedicated private ip.

NORD VPN has monthly rates.

Chance you won’t be able to continue it once you’re home. Got caught coming home from a Turks visit.

First world problem I know but I still wonder who was the perp after watching 6-7 of 10 episodes.

Oh well

I suggest you investigate ExpressVPN we use it here in the UK and when we travel worldwide.

It works on Mac and Windows.

What it does: it creates a secure encrypted link to any website and makes that link look like it's native to that country's website.

So...

1) You live in the U.S.A. and you have all your subscription services setup as you normally use them.

2) you take your computer and travel to the U.K. (for this example)

3) you start up your laptop, and immediately tell the VPN service that you want a U.S.A. connection (usually you can even choose a region or city - like NY, for San Fran)

4) once the VPN confirms a connection has been made, you can access your services as normal

Now, all that said, there are some services that prevent VPN connections. But apple, Hulu all seem to be compliant - there are some quirks like Netflix detect a VPN and blocks it - basically forcing you to use Netflix without VPN (but Netflix is accessible everywhere I believe with individual countries driving their own censorship)

Its not expensive and frankly, these days, everyone regardless of whether they travel should have a VPN service.

Where are you going to visit in the U.K? England, Wales, Scotland?

On another note, just watching the local television in the evenings will give you a nice additional flavour of the culture.
