Four Generals consider resigning due to Defence cuts

Disaffection and low morale are said to be sweeping through both the top brass and middle-ranking officers, who are in “disbelief” that the government is considering making further reductions at a time of growing international instability, according to well-placed sources.
The pressure on David Cameron to protect the defence budget mounted this weekend after a top US diplomat warned that Britain risks falling out of the top tier of Nato nations if it makes further dramatic cuts to its military.
