FRONTLINE Had a Great Profile of Trump & Clinton

Last night's FRONTLINE on PBS was a comprehensive background on both candidates. It was an enlightening and often unsympathetic look at the background and experiences. Trump's early business mentor, Roy Cohn (yes, the Joe McCarthy henchman) helped Trump define his bombastic business style. It clearly shows that his real estate holdings and associated businesses became "too big to fail" and the banks were forced to keep most of his operations going because their liquidation value was so small.

He became a full-time promoter.

Hillary's background is described as deliberate and focused on building political power. Her political partnership with Bill was more important than anything. She put up with a lot (including serial infidelity) in order to preserve a path to progressive policies championed from the White House.

I suggest that readers look for the re-run of this, or find it streaming. It is well worth the two-hour investment.
