Democrats hold onto every Democratic held seat up in 2018 and pick up AZ,NV,TN,and TX. 53D 47R
2020
Democrats lose AL but pick up AZ,CO,GA,IA,ME,NC,and TX. 59D 41R
2022
Democrats hold onto every Democratic held seat up in 2022 and pick up FL,NC,PA,and WI. 63D 37R
2024
Democrats lose IN,MO,TN,and WV. 59D 41R
2026
Democrats lose GA,IA,NC,and TX. 55D 45R

concentrated in like 16 states the majority of Senators will be from rural states, representing a smaller number of people.

If trends continue, those 68 Senators will be Republican against 32 Democrats.
