I'd like to think it helps Nelson, but I doubt it will make much difference overall.

"listening tour" recently in Iowa and NH this month. He is thinking about his next gig which speculation indicates a run for the WH in 2020. He's a real Democrat, has done a lot for the people* of our state in spite of the idiots in the legislature, has the right stuff, was AG for Schweitzer. I'd vote for him, he's a progressive as far as I can tell..

I am going to asterisk 2 to add
* Tennessee. I've read in a few places that Alexander may retire. So who knows.
* West Virginia: Only because the Capitos are such shady people, you never know what will happen

While Nebraska will more than likely go Republikkan, Sasse may not be their nominee

There are no electable Democrats in TN other than Bredesen who is going to get elected to the other TN US Senate seat.
Capito-WV is vulnerable against Ojeda-D or Tomblin-D

Isn't 2020 two years in the future? Shouldn't we be more concerned with this year? Am I missing something here?
