2020 CO US Senate Election- Jena Griswold-D should run for the US Senate in 2020 against Gardner-R.
Jena Griswold-D was elected CO Secretary of State in 2018 against a sitting Republican incumbent Wayne Williams by a 8 percent margin(53-45). Griswold-D can run for the US Senate in the middle of her term as CO Secretary of State like Jason Hawley(R-MO) did in 2018 after getting elected MO Attorney General in 2016. CO has a Democratic Governor-Jared Polis who will pick Griswold's replacement in the Secretary of State's office in 2020. Griswold-D will be the first female United States Senator from CO if she ran.
