2020 US Presidential & Senate Election- Dems guide to majority if Brown(D-OH) is on the DEM ticket.

If Sherrod Brown(D-OH) gets elected President or Vice President in 2020. OH Governor Mike DeWine-R will appoint Brown's US Senate successor. John Kasich or Mary Taylor are the leading Republican candidates for that seat. Both of the Republicans can win in the 2022 special Election.
Doug Jones(D-AL) is the only Democratic US Senator up for re-election in 2020 that is likely to lose re-election.
Brown(D-OH) and Jones(D-AL) departure brings Democrats to 45 seats.
Democrats need to win 5 Republican held US Senate seats in 2020 to regain control of the US Senate.
AZ special(McSally-R) Greg Stanton-D or Mark Kelly-D are the most electable candidates to challenge McSally-R.
CO(Gardner-R) John Hickenlooper or Ed Perlmutter are the leading Democratic candidates to challenge Gardner-R.
IA(Ernst-R) Dave Loebsack-D or JD Scholten-D will be a safe choice to challenge Ernst-R.
ME(Collins-R) Chellie Pingree-D will be a safe choice against Collins-R.
NC(Tillis-R) Josh Stein-D will be a safe choice against Tillis-R.
GA will be difficult for Democrats to pickup because they have trouble winning in the December Runnoff. John Barrow-D (2018 GA Secretary of State Election).

Unlike the 2018 US Senate Election cycle, Democrats will lose only 1 seat in 2020-AL. nkpolitics1212 Dec 2018 #2

2020 does not look good for Democrats, but a lot can change over the next 22 months.
